Perfect Bound Books

Our most beloved product, perfect bound books are books that consist of a cover and interior pages that are bound together with the best quality grade PUR glue. Many of our clients use them for presentations, gifts, and products since they lay beautifully on a table with a clean finish. One of the challenges with perfect bound books is that they do not lay flat so they’re not optimal for long uses where writing is involved. The great news is that we use PUR glue, which has enough flexibility to allow pages to lay more flat than traditional books. Our books also last longer and are more resistant to temperature fluctuations so that your hard work can last through several uses.

Text should not be rasterized (text in Photoshop will not print crisply)
If putting in crop marks, offset the crop marks to .125"

Recommended Programs to Design In

Layout

InDesign is the best for projects that contain both text and images.

Images Only

Photoshop is the best for manipulating images. We do not advise putting text in photoshop as it will not print as clearly.

Illustrations

Illustrator is great for vector graphics. If you're using more advanced print techniques we recommend outlining your text so that we don't need any of your fonts to print the document.
